Managed networks & IT support

We build the network, then we stay on it.

Jordinet designs, installs, and looks after the networks small businesses run on — cabling, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and the everyday support that keeps them working once the installers have gone home.

Most networks get installed, then orphaned

A contractor pulls the cable, racks the gear, sets the firewall rules, and hands over the keys. Six weeks later a new hire needs access, an access point drops, or the internet goes down on a Monday morning — and nobody in the building knows how any of it was put together.

That handover is the failure point. Not the wiring. So we don't treat the install as the finish line — we treat it as the first month of a working relationship.

Phase one · project

The build

Site walk, design, cabling, hardware, configuration, and documentation. Quoted as a fixed-scope project so you know the number before we start.

Phase two · ongoing

The part that keeps it running

Monitoring, patching, backups, and a real person to call. A flat monthly plan means problems get found before they reach your staff — and you're never relearning your own network.

What we cover

Design & build

Getting it in the ground

  • LAN and WAN design for offices, clinics, and shops
  • Wi-Fi site surveys, coverage mapping, and tuning
  • Structured cabling, patch panels, and rack cleanup
  • Firewall configuration, VPN access, and network segmentation

Day to day

Keeping it healthy

  • Round-the-clock monitoring with alerts before users notice
  • Helpdesk support for staff, on contract not per incident
  • Backups and a recovery plan that has actually been tested
  • Patching and updates for workstations, servers, and gear

Projects

When things change

  • Office moves, expansions, and internet provider switches
  • Cloud migrations and hybrid file access
  • VoIP phone systems and number porting
  • Cameras, door controllers, and other connected equipment

Advice

Before you spend

  • Infrastructure assessments for new and growing businesses
  • Vendor-neutral guidance on what to buy and what to skip
  • Compliance groundwork for HIPAA and PCI-DSS networks
  • Security basics: endpoint protection, password policy, staff training

Monthly plans

Tier 01Access

Access

For a single site with a handful of workstations and no one on staff who wants to own the network.

  • Monitoring of firewall, switches, and access points
  • Business-hours helpdesk for your team
  • Monthly patching for workstations
  • Annual network health report

Quoted per site

Tier 02Most chosen

Distribution

For a growing business where downtime costs real money and someone needs to answer the phone quickly.

  • Everything in Access
  • After-hours response for outages
  • Managed backups with restore testing
  • Endpoint protection across all devices
  • Quarterly review of capacity and risks

Quoted per site

Tier 03Core

Core

For multi-site or regulated operations that need the network treated as critical infrastructure.

  • Everything in Distribution
  • Multi-site monitoring and site-to-site VPN
  • Documented disaster recovery plan
  • Compliance evidence and audit support
  • Scheduled onsite visits

Quoted per site

Plans are priced on the number of devices we look after, not the number of people you employ. Project work — cabling, installs, migrations — is quoted separately at a fixed scope.

How an engagement runs

Walk the site

We look at the building, the existing gear, and how your team actually works. No charge, and no obligation to go further.

Design and quote

You get a written plan with the hardware, the layout, the timeline, and a fixed price. If something is optional, it says so.

Install and cut over

Cabling, configuration, and testing — scheduled around your hours so the switchover doesn't cost you a business day.

Hand over the documentation

Diagrams, addressing, credentials, and warranty details, written to be read by someone who isn't us.

Watch it from there

Monitoring goes live, your plan starts, and the network stops being something you have to think about.

Who you're actually calling

Jordinet is a small, deliberately hands-on shop. The person who surveys your site is the person who configures your firewall and the person who picks up when something breaks — there's no tier-one queue between you and someone who knows your setup.

That comes out of years of daily IT support work: the recurring problems in small offices are rarely exotic, they're the result of nobody owning the network. Jordinet exists to be that owner.

When a job needs more hands than one, we bring in vetted contractors for that project rather than padding a payroll you'd end up paying for.
